JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to develop and provide effective training to meet the customer quality expectations. This position will require the ability to understand all levels of learning, evaluation of internal data, customer data and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of the training program. Effective training requires:

• Ability to apply alternative methods where necessary
• Ability to communicate in clear and precise terms with coworkers and leadership
The Trainer will work to create individualized and standardized training operations to meet the continuous changing needs and expectations of the programs operating at each facility the trainer will service, including but not limited to all sites. The Trainer will collaborate with the Training & Development Coordinator, Facility Managers, Program Managers, Team Leads, Quality Representatives, and co-workers on the floor to develop, implement, co-facilitate, analyze, assess, and continuously improve facility plans and programs as they relate to training.
It is imperative that the trainer meet the attendance, productivity and quality work requirements as well as adhere to all of KMM policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment as required by job task.
Adhere to all KMM safety policies and procedures, as well as manufacturer recommendations on operation of all equipment and tools.
Develop specific trainings that meet and exceed all engineering and/or customer requirements.
Develop trainings that enable the trainee to meet the goals of the company and/or customer requirements for 100% quality and delivery.
May require training large groups, individuals or development of Train the Trainer models.
Responsible for working with all departments in training and development of applications within KMM. Establish and maintain a training matrix for all trained personnel.
Requires Interaction with customer representatives.
Requires knowledge in or the ability to learn LEAN manufacturing principals.
Create and/or maintain records to identify training needs, frequency of training, recertification.
Write/Create New Trainings in which the employee is able to follow standardized formats in a timely manner to meet production needs. Ability to incorporate/interpret the levels of learning.
Conduct Trainings with confidence in front of audiences. Must be able to stay on track, keep audience attention & represent the company without visible & audible difficulty.
Requires Computer Software Skillset to Breakdown FPY (First Pass Yield) data and assess training needs – Ability to use Excel: Pivot Tables, Charts & Formulas, and Access: Tables, Queries, Reports & formulas.
Evaluate Training needs- Employees participation in QIP (Quality Improvement Programs) and interaction with program leadership personnel. Daily interaction with various people to evaluate training effectiveness and adjust training as necessary to meet those demands. Ability to be flexible in constantly changing environments.
Ability to Decipher Technical Writing and discern information to all levels. Understanding of build processes, shop-aids and specifications requirements for all applicable programs.
Deliver trainings in multiple formats to meet trainees needs/style. Ability to recognize different needs/styles.
Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
A Bachelor’s Degree is not required but is highly preferred. Applicant must possess high school diploma or GED.
A minimum 24 months of professional experience in Training and Development is preferred.
KMM skill assessments may be required for this position.
A working knowledge of several computer related software applications including, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook.
Previous Experience with LMS (Learning Management Systems) and knowledge in eLearning is preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills. Additionally, this position requires the employee to be able to communicate (verbally and written) fluently in the English language.

Requires ability to use a computer (notebook or desktop), keyboard, and standard office equipment, proficiently.
Requires the ability to present information in a training environment with large and small groups and/or individual training as needed
This position will require the ability to move freely throughout the facilities to audit, evaluate and perform individual training as needed throughout the day.
The ability to reach, reach and bend, stand and sit.
Daily activities may include extended periods of standing or sitting and entering data into the computer system.
