JOB SUMMARY
Maintain inventory and provide materials to the production area by kitting material to work orders as needed. Adjust inventory as needed to ensure inventory is accurate in order to drive material requirements to procurement. Communicate concise and clear data to eliminate waste, provide a stable workflow for production to ensure program schedules are met.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Relocate material from receiving to appropriate bin as needed (daily)
- Review job shortages daily and fill shortages as material is received in
- Process material requisitions from production
- Physically & electronically kit jobs
- Face Inventory shelves as needed to ensure FIFO (First In/First Out)
- Perform routine cycle counts (monthly at a minimum)
- Handle customer material requests
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- High degree of manual dexterity in order to handle small objects
- Basic math skills – ability to perform multiplication, division, addition, subtraction, and measurements
- Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions
- Communicate (verbally and written) fluently in the English language
- Education, knowledge, skills, values, and abilities to meet the expectations outlined in the Job Summary and essential job functions
EQUIPMENT AND MACHINERY USED
- This position requires the daily use of a computer and computer related software; use of Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as KMM applicable software, specifically Dynamics
- May require use of a variety of small hand tools, including but not limited to scissors and tweezers
- Standard Office equipment such as copiers, calculators, etc.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to move freely throughout the factory
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. for transporting material throughout the factory
Ability to reach, reach and bend, lift, stand or sit for extended periods of time
