CCA Shared Resources
The goal of the Shared Resource Department is to improve profits & cash flow, and they have the responsibility to strive to eliminate waste, provide a stable workflow while meeting program schedules, monitoring and improving processes to ensure a quality product is produced through teamwork.
Shared Resources consists of a variety of equipment and operations. The purposes of these positions are to perform the tasks within the shared resource area as required to meet the customer requirements. They will have the responsibility to communicate concise and clear data to assist and strive to eliminate waste, provide a stable workflow while meeting program schedules and improving processes, to assist the team in process improvements and providing input to training needs through defect and process improvement data and to monitor and insure that a quality product is produced through teamwork. All areas of the Shared Resources require an understanding of the 5S + Safety culture, Lean and process improvement requirements.
It is an expectation that all Shared Resource Department personnel will conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times and be responsible and respectful.
All areas in the Shared Resource department require the ability to read .37 on the Graham-Field vision chart to be able to evaluate quality of product and measurement devices.

Wave Solder Technician
SMT Technician

Wave Solder Technician
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Operation and maintenance of the Wave Solder Equipment Responsible for running and overseeing operations of Super Mole Responsible for performing monthly, annually, and weekly maintenance on machines as well as tracking, collecting and sending solder samples for analysis as required Analyze wave solder first pass yield (FPY) charts and work with cells and engineering as needed to make necessary adjustments to continually improve yields Maintain chemicals for wave solder and degreasers. Responsible for input of weekly Super Mole Calibration run data Assist engineers in evaluation pallets from wave solder pallet manufacturer Responsible for running & overseeing operations of selective solder machine Maintenance on fixturing related to assigned processes Performance of regular maintenance and cleaning on the equipment and work area This individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks

Education, Prior Work Experience, and Skills and Knowledge:
The position has a minimal education requirement of 2 Years Technical degree or minimum 2 years experience working in an environment with problem solving and technical aptitude requirements. This position requires familiarity with windows based software for purpose of operating the machines and evaluation of data for profile adjustments when needed. The position requires ability of becoming familiar with Super Mole software. In addition, the position requires basic knowledge of chart reading and high attention to detail is required for completing tasks in an efficient manner. Along with this, the employee must exemplify good personal skills to work through any process issues or problems with operators, cell lead, manufacturing supervisors, engineering and Program Manager as well as conduct business as needed outside of the company in performance of the required duties.
Physical requirements, i.e. vision, lifting, standing, sitting, etc, and environment/working conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, one must withstand extended periods of standing, with minimal periods of sitting. Some occasional lifting may be required (35lbs) for daily duties. When servicing the equipment there may requirements for (40-75 lbs). The employee must be able to clean the equipment which will require reaching, bending, turning and lifting in a hot environment.
This position is primarily working with pre-heaters and molten solder and therefore in a hot environment. Due to the nature of the job there are manufacturing odors in the area.
Equipment and machinery used: Flow solder machine Different tools are used to accomplish different tests that are necessary within the department. An individual working in this department must know how to use or become familiar with; Fluke, Caliber and Super Mole to accomplish the desired tasks.
This position will require the use of a computer for updating of profiles and processes and other documentation as related per job requirements. The employee must have the abSMT Technician
Primary duties and responsibilities: Read and understand written directions, work instructions, drawings, or schematics. Load parts into feeders, load feeders onto table, and load tables onto the machines. Feeder maintenance and troubleshooting. Operate and troubleshoot placement equipment for accuracy. Operate the AOI (Automated Optical Inspection). Work with computers. Perform calibration procedures on placement machines and perform appropriate maintenance. Operate the reflow oven. Identify and troubleshoot causes of defects related to SMT equipment. This individual has responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks. Be able to perform reflow profiles. Use the X-ray to inspect BGA’s and any other type of component as required. Run X-ray inspection programs. These programs partially automate the inspection process so that the machine moves to predetermined positions. The operator accepts or rejects the image and the machine moves to the next programmed position. Create X-ray inspection programs with the assistance of engineering. Record and compile X-ray results into reports and graphs and report this information to internal customers for process improvement activities. Perform machine maintenance functions as required. Working within KMM software solution to run inventory control.

Education, prior work experience, and specialized skills and knowledge:
This is a technician position. Minimum 2 years associate degree is preferred, or related experience is required. Applicant must have a working knowledge of all computer-related software including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, and a willingness to learn and operate other programming packages (e.g., AOI circuit cam software). Attention to detail is critical and required along with the ability to communicate test result procedures as well as other customer-required skills. Excellent problem solving skills, identifying problems and causes, and the ability to provide solutions are required. The applicant must demonstrate the ability to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude. In addition, the applicant must comply with all time and attendance policies.
Physical requirements, i.e. vision, lifting, standing, sitting, etc, and environment/working conditions: This position may require extended periods of sitting or standing. Lifting of up to 25 lbs. while handling fixtures and material totes is required. Employee must have the ability to use a computer keyboard to transfer data as needed to computer programs. This requires the ability to see written documents and a normal computer screen and color acuity. Some bending, stooping and reaching to perform the SMT equipment maintenance and daily tasks.
Equipment and machinery used:
The position requires the use of a computer, related software, SMT Placement Machines, AOI, and the Reflow Oven.ility to move freely throughout the flow solder work area.
Parylene Technician
Primary duties and responsibilities:
Duties to be performed when doing Parylene would include Spray soap inside chamber Load CCA’s into fixture Load fixture into chamber Run manual promotion cycle Run coating cycle Unload fixture from chamber Unrack CCA’s from fixture Measure thickness Verify adhesion Clean machine which includes un-assembling and then reassembling
Additional duties Package for shipment May have to perform manual promotion process on rework CCA’s Preventative maintenance on equipment Safely remove and clean quartz tube This individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks

Education, prior work experience, and skills and knowledge:
Knowledge of the Parylene process and understand the intricacies of CCA processing to packaging is helpful. The position has a minimal education requirement of a high school degree or GED equivalent. Employee must be able to read .37M from the Graham-Field vision chart. Following a reasonable training period the Employee must be able to read, analyze, interpret, and act upon the information displayed on the graphic monitor of the parylene machine.
Physical requirements, i.e. vision, lifting, standing, sitting, etc, and environment/working conditions: Reaching and lifting to hang and detach CCA’s from fixture Operate electric hoist to insert loaded fixture in and out of chamber Dexterity to mask and demask CCA’s Reaching overhead to connect hoist. Bending and reaching in a pulling motion Submerge and agitate boards by hand as needed Actual cleaning of machine would require occasional long periods of standing
This position is in the production area and involves extended periods of sitting and standing throughout the day. The position also requires minimal lifting of up to 40 – 50 pounds.
This position may require using protective gloves during certain parts of the operation.

Coating Technician
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Apply Conformal Coating to CCAs using spray method or dip method Masking training and inspection Assist with 5S “Red Tag” inventory Supervision and training within the coating department Responsible for care and disposal of expired chemicals Responsible for overall care of chemicals stored in the coating room Technical resource for information on all chemicals, including bonding, loctite, and conformal coating, etc. Data is entered that pertains to coating thickness measurements on test coupons and – maintained on a spreadsheet. Maintenance of a clean and safe work environment SPC charting of coating thicknesses. Training and preventive maintenance of pneumatic presses and depanelizing equipment, hand tools, soldering irons, scope lights, etc. This individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks

Education, prior work experience, and skills and knowledge:
This position requires that the employee can read and interpret information from complex Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). They must be able to accurately mix and or handle chemicals according to the proper instruction and or MSDS. The position requires the employee to have basic chemistry knowledge as well as proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Dynamics. In addition, the position requires the knowledge to read drawings, charting, MSDS labels and technical data on a daily basis. Good interpersonal skills are also required for this position.
Physical requirements, i.e. vision, lifting, standing, sitting, etc, and environment/working conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, one must withstand extended periods of times sitting or standing depending on the process performed. Some occasional lifting may be required to transfer material (35-50 lbs). Reaching and flexibility in arm motion to perform the coating operation as well as the ability to grasp the hand sprayer. Employee must have the ability to use a computer keyboard to transfer data as needed to computer programs.
The operator must be able to distinguish the florescent tracer color inside the coating material used to spray production boards to ensure proper coverage.
Equipment and Machinery used: UV Oven – with Safety Equipment – E-stop, UV Glasses, approved gloves and Radiometer Convection Oven – with Safety Equipment – approved gloves Vacuum Chamber Coating Machine – with Safety Equipment – Mask, E-Stops, Butyl gloves Spray Gun – with Safety Equipment – Mask and Butyl gloves Electronic Scale Safety glasses if the mask used is not a full face mask
It is a requirement that the operator must be able to pass a fit test for the requirement to wear the appropriate masks.
Clean/DI & Waterspider
Primary duties and responsibilities: The primary daily duty of the Waterspider is to operate the equipment for cleaning of product and his/her secondary daily duty is to cover the Waterspider route. Pick up and deliver products throughout the facility as instructed by Waterspider cards or router. Participate in Lean activities and process improvements. Operate the supply cart daily run. Monitor stock of items on supply cart and trigger order replenishment when necessary. Fill in for other cleaner operators when they are absent. This individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks.

Education, prior work experience, and skills and knowledge: The ability to read, understand and follow written and verbal instructions. The individual have the ability to work well on their own and with minimal daily instruction. Daily contact with various work cells and areas and as such is a critical part of the team environment so this individual must be able to communicate clearly, work well with others and have the ability to remain focused on the assigned tasks to avoid disrupting the work area. The Water Spider individual must be able to work as part of multiple teams with minimal disruption in each area while performing their duties. Commitment to Lean and maintain a positive attitude for continuous improvement. This position is an integral part of the production operations and as such meeting the position attendance requirements is required.
Physical requirements, i.e. vision, lifting, standing, sitting, etc, and environment/working conditions: This position required the ability to move freely throughout the facility while using a wheeled cart. The employee must be able to read and follow written and verbal instructions throughout the day and be adaptable to changes in the processes if necessary. This position requires the ability use a stair type step to reach the degreaser. While performing the cleaning operations this position may require the use of goggles, specialty gloves and safety glasses. This position may require minimal amount of lifting of 10-20 pounds while transferring product from the cart to the work area or delivery station. While delivering product or supplies this position will require reaching and bending periodically throughout the day.

CCA Material Handler – SH-PIC
Primary duties and responsibilities: Accurate data entry into computer tracking system. Ability to read & understand written instructions, drawings, and specifications. Accurate material tracking through cycle counts and inventory audits. Read and follow job scheduling & report the job material kitting status. Relocate material from receiving on daily basis to appropriate bin
o Includes bin transfers, kitting to MOs, and scrapping inventory Review job shortages daily and fill shortages as material is received
o Includes lookup of shortage in Dynamics, kitting to MO, and delivering parts to kit Process all material requisitions from Production
o Includes bin lookup, kitting to MO or scrapping item in Dynamics
o Includes notifying buyer if no stock is on hand Physically and Electronically kit jobs
o Includes use of handheld scanners, monitoring job release status, running picklists, and creating paperwork packet for MO Face inventory shelves as needed
o Includes consolidating totes and bin transfers Perform routine cycle counts on inventory – minimum monthly schedule or as designated by accounting
o Includes running report of top dollar inventory, verifying counts, and making necessary corrections in Dynamics Includes scanning documents and saving for year-end audit Report scrap items to Buyer (large quantities scrapped or high dollar items) Cross train into Receiving Inspector & perform the job tasks in a backup role. Physical requirements, i.e. vision, lifting, standing, sitting, etc, and environment/working conditions:
This position requires some stooping, reaching and extended periods of standing or sitting. Employee must have the ability to use a computer, transfer data as needed into specific computer programs, which requires the ability to see written documents and a computer screen. The position requires that the employee be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

This position requires the use of a computer and related software as necessary in completing job tasks including a measurement scale as needed
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1. Maintain and improve work instructions per the customer and standard requirement.
2. Prepares documentation, maintains records, and coordinates logistics for product shipment.
3. Accurate Data Entry using the proper tracking software and KMM manufacturing system.
4. Place items correctly into the required shipping containers, verifying that the labeling and pack slip requirements are per individual product and customer requirements. Maintain a clean and safe work area by performing the standard 6S procedure.
5. Follow any special instruction listed per contract instructions.
6. Communicate any problems or issues to the Program Manager, Manufacturing Supervisor, Team Lead, Accounting or Human Resource Department as needed.
7. Monitor packaging supplies and replace or order as needed to prevent delays in production shipments.
8. This individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks.
9. Performs other related duties and assignments as required
Education / Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
KMM skill assessments will be required for this position; minimum standards (scores) will be established at the time of the opening and will be based on current labor availability and staffing needs. Employee must also have a strong background in computer processes and Microsoft Dynamics. Good communication and organizational skills. Additionally, this position requires the employee is able to communicate (verbally and written) fluently in the English language. These requirements may be temporarily adjusted or modified at the time of the opening and will be based on current labor availability and staffing needs. In these instances it is expected the employee will be able to meet all requirements within 180 days of accepting the position.
Equipment and Machinery used
This position requires the daily use of a computer and computer related software. The employee must be able to accurately and proficiently enter and retrieve data as needed for the job tasks. Standard office equipment such as copiers, weight scales, calculators etc will be used. Employee must be able to lift shipping boxes with product, and load paper into copiers and fax machines.
Physical requirements
The employee must be able to enter and retrieve data with accuracy and proficiency into the computer. Employee must be able to lift 50 lbs. Employee must be able to sit in front of a computer for long periods of time entering data. Employee must be able to read small print and have the ability to be able to distinguish colors. This position requires flexibility of movement to build boxes, bending and twisting to load and seal boxes as well as reaching, grasping and arm movements to seal and transport boxes to designated areas.
